I am a fourth-year doctoral student at Howard University, where I am studying Communication, Culture, & Media Studies. I am a critical media and culture scholar, whose research interests include Black Popular Culture, Gender & Sexuality in media, Afrofuturism, and Black sports/athletes. I also serve as a teaching associate at Howard University and adjunct lecturer at University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Additionally, I have nearly 10 years of experience in marketing & public relations.
